TIGERS TRANSPORT LIMITED - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COACH HIRE
1.1 Delays to Service
Tigers Transport Limited will provide a suitable coach and qualified driver to fulfil the booking ensuring compliance with legal standards for safety. The driver retains discretion over th route taken unless a specific route is agreed in writing prior to travel. Journey durations may vary based on road, traffic and weather conditions. We do not guarantee arrival or departure times and will not offer refunds for delays outside of our control, including but not limted to traffic congestion, accidents, weather or mechanical failures. Customers are encouraged to obtain travel insurance if punctuality is crucial.
1.2 Luggage
All lugagge carried is at the owners risk. Tigers Transport Limited accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings. Valuables should not be left on the coach unattended and any lost property found will be processed according to the lost property regulations and kept for 30 days in our head office.
1.3 Driver Hours
Drivers workers hours are strictly regulated, and it is illegal for drivers to work over this time. Customers must adhere to collection and return times. Delays caused by customers may lead to changes in the timetable and additional charges will be due if an additional driver is required to take over due to any delays.
2. Customer Responsibilities
2.1 Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave appropriately at all times. The driver may refuse or remove any individual who is intoxicated, abusive or poses any threat to others. Alcohol consumption remains at the discretion of the driver and may be prohibited if travelling to certain events or fixtures.
2.2 Damage to Vehicles
Customers are responsible for any damages to the coach. This includes and is not limited to spillages on floors and seats, broken blinds or tables and any other food spillages. If found, a cleaning surcharge will be sent of £150 per seat. The customer assumes responsibility of all passengers travelling on the coach at the time of hire.
2.3 Security Deposit
A deposit bond may be requested up to 48 hours prior to the hire for any hire relating to parties, events or racing festivals. This will allow us to determine the condition of the vehicle upon return and deduct any damages from the bond.
2.4 Children and Minors
Bookings must be made by someone over the age of 18. All minors should be travelling with an accompaning adult and passenger numbers should not exceeed the number of seats available. All children and minors travel under the responsibility of the adult.
2.5 Parking & Tolls
Customers are responsible for any parking, tolls, airport fees and other surcharges involved with the trip. Additional charges will be advised prior to booking.
2.6 Overtime Charges
A charge of £75 per hour applies to any coach hire exceeding the grace period of 15 minutes. If due to driving hours and legal working standards an additional driver is required, a surchage of £300 will be due before departure.
3. Payment, Cancellations and Additional Charges
3.1 Payment Terms
1. Standard Bookings: Deposit within 7 days; balance due 7 working days before departure.
2. International Trips: Deposit within 7 days; balance due 21 working days before departure.
3. Last-Minute Bookings: Full payment due immediately.
4. Ferry or third-party arrangements: Full cleared payment required before booking.
Failure to meet payment deadlines will result in automatic cancellation.
3.2 Credit/Debit Card Payments
Bookings over 10 working days away require a 20% deposit if paying by card. Balances due 10 days prior to departure.
3.3 Cancellations and Amendments
Cancellation by Customer (14+ working days): Full refund minus deposit.
Cancellation by Customer (<7 working days): Full payment due.
Cancellation by Tigers Transport Limited: Full refund of monies paid with no further liability.
No refunds for ferry, tunnel, or toll fees. No cash refunds issued.
3.4 Additional Charges
Unless stated, prices exclude drivers hotel and meals for tours and overnight bookings. Prices also exclude admission fees, catering, tolls and third party bookings.
3.5 Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the travel date. Refunds will be offered as credit notes. Our office does not process complaints over weekends.
3.6 Smoking
There is strictly no smoking allowed on any of the vehicles on hire, either during a transfer, before a transfer or in between transfers. Customers must inform passengers of this policy.
3.6 Alcohol
We do not permit alcohol consumption on our coaches unless an agreement and bond is paid prior to the hire. We do not allow alcohol to any football events due to UK regulations.
Tigers Transport Limited confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These terms are in addition to consumer rights under UK law. By booking with us, means you accept our terms and conditions.
