Why We Made the Switch
Over the past few months, Tigers Transport has moved its booking, fleet workshop and compliance systems onto Savari — a single platform built specifically for coach and minibus operators. Previously, quoting, vehicle maintenance scheduling and licensing paperwork lived across separate spreadsheets, inboxes and paper files. That worked, but it relied on someone manually joining the dots between a customer enquiry, an available vehicle, and a compliant driver. Savari joins those dots automatically, and it changes what you notice as a customer just as much as what we notice behind the scenes.
Shorter Wait Times for Quotes
This is the change you'll feel first. Quote requests used to be checked against availability by hand before a price went out — fine for a handful of enquiries a day, slower once demand picks up around weekends, school holidays and events. Savari pulls live vehicle and driver availability straight into the quoting process, so a quote reflects what we can actually deliver the moment you ask for it, not what was true when someone last updated a spreadsheet. The result is quotes landing in your inbox faster, with fewer follow-up calls needed to confirm details we already had.
"A faster quote isn't just a convenience — it's a sign the number behind it is accurate, not a guess."
Automated Reminders & Driver Details Before You Travel
Once a booking is confirmed, Savari takes over the admin that used to depend on someone remembering to send an email. You'll now get:
- Automated trip reminders — sent ahead of your journey so pick-up times, locations and any special requirements are confirmed well before the day, not scrambled together the night before.
- Driver and vehicle details ahead of your trip — your driver's name and the vehicle assigned to your journey, so your group knows exactly who and what to expect at the pick-up point.
- Fewer manual errors — because this information is generated directly from the confirmed booking record, rather than retyped by hand from a separate system.
For group organisers coordinating schools, weddings, corporate events or sports fixtures, this removes one more thing you have to chase us for.
Behind the Scenes: A Tighter-Run Workshop
Savari isn't only customer-facing — it's also how we run our workshop. Every vehicle's service history, inspection schedule and repair record now sits in one place instead of being tracked separately per vehicle. That means:
- Maintenance is scheduled proactively against mileage and time intervals, rather than reactively when something is due.
- A vehicle can be checked against its full maintenance record before it's assigned to a booking, not after.
- Our workshop team spends less time chasing paperwork and more time on the fleet itself.
A coach or minibus that's properly maintained is a coach or minibus that's reliably on time — this change is as much about punctuality as it is about safety.
Compliance You Can Rely On
As a DVSA-licensed operator, we're required to keep accurate, up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, driver hours, licensing and safety checks. Savari gives us a single, auditable record of all of it, which reduces the risk of a compliance detail slipping through the cracks between systems. Driver qualifications, DBS checks and vehicle certifications are all tracked centrally, so a booking can only be assigned a driver and vehicle that are genuinely eligible to run it — not just available on paper.
What This Means for You
None of this changes how you book with us — you'll still request a quote, get a price, and confirm your journey the same way you always have. What's changed is what happens underneath: quotes arrive faster, you know who's driving and what vehicle to expect before the day, and every trip is backed by a maintenance and compliance record that's genuinely up to date. If you have any questions about how this affects an upcoming booking, call us on 0208 050 5180 — we're happy to walk you through it.
